The Turkish Cypriot Badminton Federation ("Federation") takes the security of your personal data seriously. This notice explains, under the TRNC Personal Data Protection Law No. 89/2007, which personal data we process, for what purposes, and your rights.

Personal data we process
- Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), message, time of consent and IP address
- Licence, course and club applications: identity, contact, health report, photo and club details on the application forms; parent or guardian details for athletes under 18
- Athlete information: name, club, age group and points in rankings and competition results
- Images: photos taken at events and published in news
Purposes
- Processing licence, course and club registration applications
- Organising leagues, tournaments, trials and national team activities and publishing results
- Answering questions sent through the contact form
- Meeting the federation's legal obligations
Disclosure
Your data may be shared, only as far as necessary for these purposes, with the relevant public bodies (e.g. the Sports Department), the Turkish Badminton Federation and organisations we work with on events.
Retention
Data is kept for as long as the purpose and legal retention periods require, and is then deleted or anonymised. Contact form messages are deleted after two years at the latest.
Your rights
You have the right to know whether your personal data is processed, to request information, to ask for correction or deletion, and to object to processing. Send your requests in writing to the federation's email or postal address.
