Applications for the Turkish Championship to be held in Rize on 8-12 May 2024.
As we were unable to hold a trial for financial reasons, the Board decided on 24 April 2024 that the national team for the U13 Turkish Badminton Championship in Rize will be made up of athletes born in 2012-2013 who finished in the top four in singles and doubles at the national team trial held on 6 November 2023 (flights at their own expense). It was also decided that athletes who reached the last 16 at the U13 national team trial of 6 November 2023 may take part if they cover all their own expenses. Eligible athletes must apply to the federation by 2 May 2024 at the latest.
Note: Because of the small number of athletes in these age groups and financial reasons, no trial could be held for the U9 and U11 Turkish Badminton Championships in Çorum. The Board decided on 24 April 2024 that the U9 team will be made up of athletes born in 2016-2017 and the U11 team of athletes born in 2014-2015 (flights at their own expense).
