Nehir, Salih, Hüseyin and Emre reach the main draw at the U17 Turkish Championship.
Our national team of 4 girls and 5 boys returned home happy from the U17 Turkish Badminton Championship, which began at the Ankara Olympic Preparation Centre on 25 November 2022. Over five days our athletes won a total of 22 matches and 4 of them reached the main draw. Nehir Meral Deniz reached the main draw in women's singles for the third time and Salih Doğu Öztürk in men's singles for the fourth time, while Emre Erçelik and Hüseyin Şahali reached the main draw in men's doubles for the first time. President Fırat Deniz said our successes continue to grow; expressing his satisfaction with the U17 national team's performance, he congratulated all the athletes and coach Ali Kandulu, and thanked Modda Director Murat Tenekeci for sponsoring the national team kit. Coach Ali Kandulu said the tournament had been very productive and that it was a pleasure to see the athletes improving day by day.
